HH&L Acquisition Co. Announces Closing of Upsized $414 Million Initial Public Offering and Exercise of Underwriters' Over-Allotment Option in Full

HONG KONG,Feb. 10,2021 -- HH&L Acquisition Co. (NYSE: HHLA.U) (the "Company") today announced the closing of its initial public offering of 41,400,000 units,which includes 5,000 units issued pursuant to the exercise by the underwriters of their over-allotment option,at a public offering price of $10.00 per unit. Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-half of one redeemable warrant,with each whole warrant exercisable to purchase one Class A ordinary share at a price of $11.50 per share.

The units are listed on the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE") and commenced trading under the ticker symbol "HHLA.U" on February 5,2021. Once the securities comprising the units begin separate trading,the Class A ordinary shares and warrants are expected to be listed on the NYSE under the symbols "HHLA" and "HHLA WS," respectively.

HH&L Acquisition Co. is a blank check company formed for the purpose of effecting a merger,share exchange,asset acquisition,share purchase,reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses.
