TCL Extends Its Global Sponsorship of CONMEBOL Copa América 2021

SAOPAULO,April 28,2021 --TCL Electronics (1070.HK),one of the leading players in the global TV industry,and the fast-growing TV brand in Latin America,today announced it will continue the sponsorship with the CONMEBOL Copa América 2021 as part of its ongoing branding strategy of engaging with a wide audience of sports' fans around the world.

TCL has also announced that,to coincide with the event,it will unveil a range of new TVs and smart home appliances for consumers across Latin America,including TCL 4K Mini LED TV C825 and Ocarina Smart Air Conditioner and more.

This year,TCL has entered Colombia,completed its successful overall business layout in Latin America. As of now,TCL brand has expanded to all key markets in the region.

According to OMDIA,in 3 consecutive years,TCL brand TV sales volume market share in Latin America has remained Top 3. According to GfK,in 2020,TCL TV sales value in Brazil has increased 72% YoY,in Argentina increased 113% YoY. Other Latin American markets,such as Chile,Ecuador,Mexico and all other countries also has more than 50% YoY growth.

In addition to home theater offerings,TCL has grown significant momentum in major home appliances such as air conditioner,refrigerator and IoT products in select markets.

The CONMEBOL Copa América 2021 is the major football tournament contested among 10 national teams in the region. TCL's continued partnership with CONMEBOL Copa América is just one of its many ways of connecting with growing sports communities and fulfilling its commitment to global consumers.
