BW LPG (BWLPG.OL) Enters Agreement to Sell Two Large Gas Carriers
SINGAPORE,Nov. 5,2019 -- BW LPG Limited ("BW LPG",the "Company",OSE ticker code: "BWLPG.OL")has entered into aMemorandum of Agreement (MOA)to sellthe remaining two Large Gas Carriers (LGCs) in the fleet.BW Nantes and BW Nice,both built in 2003andwithacarrying capacity of 59,400cbmeach,will be delivered within Q1 2020. The sale is expected to generate approximately US$31 million in liquidity and an expected net book gain of US$9 million.
The remaining owned and operatingfleetis47VLGCs,including 2 newbuildings whichare scheduled to be delivered inQ42019 and Q1 2020. The average ageof the fleet,excludingthe IndiaJV and the storage vessel,is7.5 years.
