ChipMOS REPORTS 12.3% MoM INCREASE IN MARCH 2022 MONTHLY REVENUE; 4.0% YoY INCREASE IN 1Q22 QUARTERLY REVENUE

("ChipMOS" or the "Company") (Taiwan Stock Exchange: 8150 and NASDAQ: IMOS),an industry leading provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test services ("OSAT"),today reported its unaudited consolidated revenue for the month of March 2022and for the firstquarter ended March 31,2022. All U.S. dollar figures cited in this press release are based on the exchange rate of NT$28.62toUS$1.00 as ofMarch 31,2022.

Revenue for thefirst quarter of 2022 was NT$6,725.2 million or US$235.0 million,representing a slight decrease of1.0%from the fourthquarter of 2021,and an increase of 4.0%fromthe first quarter of 2021. The Company noted its continued strong results reflect full utilization of its DDIC high-end test capacity. Q1 is typically a seasonally slower period for the industry with fewer working days than Q4.

Revenue for the month of March 2022was NT$2,355.3million or US$82.3 million,representing an increaseof12.3% fromFebruary 2022,and an increaseof0.5%fromMarch 2021.
