ACC Continues Cooperation with Wahaha, Rolling Out 4th Solar Project

BEIJING,May 29,2019 -- Asia Clean Capital ("ACC") today announced that it has begun commercial operations of a 2.3 megawatt rooftop solar project with Jingning Wahaha Beverage Co.,Ltd,a subsidiary of Hangzhou Wahaha Group Co.,Ltd in Zhejiang Province.

Under the terms of the Agreement,ACC invested 100 percent of the system cost and completed the design and construction. ACC will also provide the long-term system maintenance. Electricity from the solar system will be provided to Wahaha at pre-agreed rates to ensure operational savings throughout the lifetime of the system.

The 2.3 megawatt solar system will also provide many sustainability related benefits. Over its lifetime,the system will save approximately 50,000 tons of CO2,or the equivalent of 21-million liters of gasoline. In addition to monetary savings,the environmental benefits are significant,helping Wahaha Group to achieve its corporate social responsibility goals.

According to Thomas Lapham,CEO of Asia Clean Capital,"Wahaha Group is the largest private beverage producer in China,with scores of locations around the country and worldwide. This is ACC's fourth Wahaha project after building solar systems for them in Suqian,Quzhou,and Jiangshan. ACC looks forward to continuing this cooperation and building many more solar facilities together."
