"Showcasing over 120 leading baby, and maternity products,we've successfully set up a record number in terms of providing the industry's new business channels. Hundreds of visitors were indulged the crowds of the expo, seizing abundance of opportunities by making appointments and exchanging contacts during the exhibition," said Budi Sutrisno from Pamerindo Indonesia, the organizer of CBME Indonesia 2019.
Manufacturers from over 9 countries were participated at the expo, including South Korea,Germany,Denmark,Taiwan,Mainland China, and Indonesia. With participation of big names, such as Mooimom,Bloom & Grow,Joie,Sweety,Mamypoko, and Gabag, the expo offered an unrivalled access for buyers and visitors to directly match with the most potential business partners.
"As the first CBME edition in Indonesia,we've impressed with the huge enthusiasm of visitors and exhibitors, setting hundreds ofnew business opportunities we've seen coming during the expo. Attendees were distributors, retailers, and young entrepreneurs, that are predominantly visited most popular sectors, such as high-tech toy and eco-friendly baby product," added Budi.
Despite providing one of a largest new source of prominent business channels, the CBME Indonesia 2019 also presented informative sessions to understand the changing of customer's characters, demand, and expectations in this new digital. Thus, all visitors (jumlah pengunjung yang juga dating ke seminar, jika ada) also benefited from insightful seminar sessions presented by leading executives, such as Blibli.com,PT Qualis Indonesia, the Indonesian Toy Traders & Manufacturers Association (APMI),Kantar Indonesia, and ToffeeDev International.
"The brand loyalty from millennial age is considered low, supported by a research that over 50% of digital moms will do online research before buying. They rely their purchase decision from online reviews, thus as retailers,we have to deliver the excellent experiences for all customers," said Fransisca K. Nugraha,Senior Vice President Trade Partnership of Blibli.com,during a seminar session.
To deliver customer's best experience, manufacturers need to convey the most reliable information about a product's quality; and for retailers, they should learn how to truly differentiate the product in a specific category. Both actionable practices were shared during the sessions by PT Qualis Indonesia and parenting community,Mamapedia. In the future,CBME Indonesia will consistently provide the best industry values through a more extensive exhibition and seminar sessions next year,18- 20 March 2020.
