Eddemy to Represent Indonesia in the EdtechX London 2020

JAKARTA,Indonesia,Nov. 7,2019 -- On 29th October 2019,despite theyoung age of the startup,which was established in early 2019,Eddemy thrived as the winner in the battle betweeneight Edtech startups in Indonesia in GoWork Setiabudi at Jakarta. Eddemy won the opportunity to go to EdtechX Event in London 2020 as the sole representative from Indonesia,and will compete with other Edtech startups from around the globe.

Eddemy won the opportunity to go to EdtechX Event in London 2020 as the sole representative from Indonesia.

At the upcoming EdtechX event in London,June 2020,Eddemy will have the opportunity to pitch in front of over 4,000 attendees and 40+ event hosts at the summit,and potentially a lot of investors or Venture Capital from around the world that take interest in education technology sector.

Eddemy was chosen as the winner for its unique approach on solving school problem,especially as Eddemy pioneered the Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) topics introduction into schools across Indonesia using research-based survey technology. This is the focusofschools throughout the world right now,and with the strong team backgrounds and the amazing pitch presentation,Eddemy was able towin the competition.

SEL is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions,set and achieve positive goals,feel and show empathy for others,establish and maintain positive relationships,and make responsible decisions. "Nowadays,Indonesians tend to focus too much on the cognitive side,such as academic grades. With the SEL methods,we aim to initiate changes and promote a holistic approach of education that is highly important for the students' future. By focusing on SEL,our research said that it will change how school system works from the inside and bring a positive ecosystem for all students from any background," said Kingsen Yan,CEO of Eddemy.
