Taylor's University among the world's top flight in latest QS rankings
SUBANG JAYA,Malaysia,June 10,2020 -- Taylor's University kicks off the QS World University Rankings 2021 series with an outstanding performance as the university climbed 135 spots,to rank 379 globally. The university is now placed amongst the top flight of universities in the world,making it the top Malaysian private university.
Taylor’s University Vice Chancellor and President Professor Michael Driscoll takes the latest global achievements as a vote of confidence in the teaching and learning strategy that Taylor’s University is pursuing.
Earlier this year,the university retained its Top 20 world ranking in the Hospitality and Leisure Management subject in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2020,making it the only university in Malaysia to be in the Top 20 ranking. The university is also currently ranked 109th in the QS Asia University Rankings 2020.

The high ranking achieved by Taylor's follows the recent QS 5 Stars rating (the highest level) for the quality of our online learning which is serving our students well during the government enforced campus closure. Taylor's University is one of the few Asian universities to be awarded the QS 5 Stars rating for Online Learning,a new single category evaluation within QS Stars. This is especially notable during an unprecedented time for the education industry globally,as universities have switched to online learning in lieu of physical classes.
