Squarefoot Best of the Best Awards 2019 winners announced

HONG KONG,Oct. 21,2019 -- Market-leading cross-media property platform squarefoot.com.hk ("Squarefoot") announced the winners of the "SquarefootBest of the Best Awards 2019" on 18 October. These awards honour leading industry players in Hong Kong and overseas,for their outstanding accomplishments in and excellent service towards the property services sector over the past year.

Kenneth Kent,General Manager,Hong Kong of REA Group and Dr. Jimmy Chiang,Associate Director of General of Investment Promotion,Invest Hong Kong,The Government of the HKSAR join hands to congratulate all the winners of the “Squarefoot Best of the Best Awards 2019”.

Earlier this year,Squarefoot commissioned the "Real Estate Market Outlook Survey" in Hong Kong,which revealed that 10% of respondents were interested in investing in overseas properties. Mainland China,Japan,Australia,Taiwan and Canada were regarded as the most popular markets for such investment.

As the trend of home buyers investing outside Hong Kong prevails,two new award categories,namely "Best Greater China Property Projects" and "Best International Property Projects",were introduced this year,in addition to the "Best Local Property Projects","Best Property Services" and "Best Lifestyle Brands (Professional Service)" categories.Each winner of the five award categories was determined through an online voting and a judging process.

The "Top Performance Agency Award" was also introduced this year to celebrate the professionalism of industry practitioners. Winners of the award were selected based on Squarefoot's internal data and user surveys that assessed the quality of their property listings and their levels of customer satisfaction. Over 30 awards were presented to companies and individuals from related areas across Hong Kong,mainland China and overseas,as outlined in the Appendix.
