L-com Introduces new DVI to DisplayPort Cable Assemblies

NORTH ANDOVER,Massachusetts,Oct. 18,2018 --L-com Global Connectivity,a preferred manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products,announced today that it has released a new series of DisplayPort to DVI cable assemblies.

The VIA00001-series cables are a cost-effective solution to send a video signal from an existing source device to a projector or monitor,without the expense of upgrading to a new monitor.

These cables feature a metal housing over the DVI connector which offers superior shielding,producing high-quality video display.

"When upgrading to newer digital video technologies it is sometimes necessary to scrap perfectly good hardware to support the upgrade. In some cases a tiered migration approach is acceptable. These new cables were designed to address such upgrades," said Brian Gates,Product Manager.
