Fuchu City has pursued a variety of initiatives as part of its campaign as "Fuchu,the Rugby City." Fuchu is home to two Top League rugby clubs-Toshiba Brave Lupus and Suntory Sungoliath. The city is located next to the site of Tokyo Stadium,the venue for the upcoming eight World Cup matches including the opening match.
